You can contact North Yorkshire Police by phone, post, email or in person.

Telephone enquiries

For all enquiries, to contact an officer or police station, or to report an incident that does not require immediate attention, please use our non-emergency number, 0845 60 60 24 7.

In an emergency situation, if there is a crime in progress or if there is a threat to life, please dial 999.

If you have a hearing or speech impairment, you can call our non-emergency number using the RNID Text Relay service, by dialling 18001 0845 60 60 24 7. In an emergency, call 18000.

Email enquiries

You can email general enquiries to general.enquiries@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk - please include as much detail as possible in your message, including your preferred method of contact if we need to get in touch with you.

If you prefer, you can email your local Safer Neighbourhood Team directly.
