Selby police are appealing for witnesses after a bicycle was stolen from outside a local restaurant.
The bike which was chained up outside Osteria 23, overlooking Back Micklegate car park, was taken sometime between 7pm and 8pm on Wednesday 29 June 2011.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw the bike, which belongs to a member of the restaurant staff, to get in touch with information.
PC Lauren Harper, of Selby police, said: "Some of the tables are positioned in the window of the restaurant, therefore it is possible that any customers sitting there may have seen the theft take place.
"I am appealing for anyone who saw the bike being taken or has any other information that can help the investigation to contact the police or Crimestoppers."
The stolen bike has a black frame with red and black writing and an attachment for a child's seat.
Anyone with information that can help the police with their enquiries is urged to contact PC Lauren Harper, of Selby police, quoting reference number 12110108008.
