The Information Systems Directorate provides strategic advice and guidance to support the selection, implementation and exploitation of Information and Communications Technology to deliver operational policing.
The Directorate works closely with colleagues in other Forces (including regional collaboration work) and partnership organisations to share best practice and ensure ICT delivery in North Yorkshire Police is aligned to local, regional and national strategies.
It is responsible for the operational delivery, support and maintenance of all Information and Communications Technology systems and assets used within North Yorkshire Police.
The Directorate consists of 44 staff delivering services across a range of functional disciplines closely aligned to the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management best practice.
