Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at a pub in Kirkbymoorside.
Officers are investigating after thieves forced a rear door at the White Swan on Church Street in the early hours of Monday 18 June 2012.
The offenders made their way to the bar area and stole a cash box containing a large sum of money before leaving the premises via the door which they had forced to get in.
Police have been making extensive enquiries in the area and are now appealing to anyone who can help the investigation to come forward.
Detective Constable Clair Gascoyne, of Malton CID, said:
"I urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area of the White Swan around the time the incident occurred, to come forward with information.
"I would also urge anyone who can help identify those responsible for the burglary to contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible."
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2- and ask for Clair Gascoyne or Malton CID.
Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
