Police investigate Skipton road rage incident

Police investigating a road rage incident near Skipton are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Incident

At around 10.10am on Thursday 9 August 2012 it is alleged that the driver of a silver Land Rover Discovery deliberately drove his vehicle into a silver Vauxhall Astra at the entrance to Heights Farm on Skipton Road, Bradley.

The driver of the Land Rover, a 46-year-old local man, was arrested at the scene of the incident and has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them with information.

PC Gillian Bell, of Skipton police, said: "Although an arrest has been made, the incident is still very much under investigation and I am appealing to anyone with information to contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible."
