Scarborough police are appealing for a driver to come forward following a minor road traffic collision in the town.
It occurred at around 5.15pm on Monday 20 August 2012, on a roundabout at the bottom of Overdale in the Eastfield area.
It involved a pedal cycle which had travelled down Overdale and a black car, believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa, which joined the roundabout from Eastway.
The woman driving the car stopped at the time. However, following a verbal altercation with the man riding the bike she left the scene without giving him her details.
As a result of the collision the cyclist suffered cuts and bruising.
Traffic Constable Gareth Gilleard, of North Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Group, said: "I ask the woman driving the car or anyone who can help to identify her to contact the police as soon as possible.
"I need to speak to her so that I can obtain her details."
Anyone who can help the police with their enquiries is asked to contact on 101, press option 2 and ask for Gareth Gilleard. Alternatively information can be emailed to gareth.gilleard@norrthyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
