Jimmy Savile: Investigation into allegation linked to Scarborough in late-1960s

On 11 October 2012 North Yorkshire Police received a further report of a historic sexual offence linked to the Jimmy Savile enquiry.

The offence involving a teenage girl is alleged to have occurred in Scarborough in the late-1960s.

This the second report the force has received in connection with the enquiry and it has been referred to the Metropolitan Police Service - all further enquiries should be directed to them.
