Police investigating thefts from vehicles in the Selby area have made two arrests following help from the public.
A 25-year-old man and a woman aged 26, both from Leeds, West Yorkshire, were arrested on Tuesday 16 October 2012 at their home address on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles.

They are currently in police custody.

"I would like to thank both the media and the public for their help with this investigation. We can all help to make our communities safer and information supplied by the public is a key part of the fight against crime."
