Selby police are appealing for witnesses after an expensive piece of machinery was stolen from a construction site in Hillam.
At sometime between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 13 October 2012 a Super Silence water pump was taken from the site on the junction of Hillam Lane and Betteras Hill Road.
The pump, which is bright yellow and measures approximately two metres by one metre by one metre, is valued at £13,000.
Two or three white men, wearing high visibility vests and blue overalls, were seen loading the pump onto the trailer of a lorry using the vehicle's crane and driving off in the direction of Hillam village.
The men were white and between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the theft to contact them with information.
