Police investigating a fatal motorcycle collision at West Marton, near Skipton, are appealing for two vital witnesses to come forward.
The collision which resulted in the death of Ian Barry Walsh, aged 48, from Barnoldswick in Lancashire, occurred in the A59 at around 4.35pm on Sunday 14 October 2012.
Mr Walsh's red Suzuki motorcycle left the road and hit a tree after colliding with a red Volkswagen Golf.
Officers investigating the collision are urgently trying to trace two witnesses who could be key to their enquiries. One is a male nurse from Guy's Hospital in London and the other is an Asian man who had a full beard and was dressed in traditional clothing.
Traffic Sergeant Pete Stringer, of Skipton Road Policing Group, said: "I need to speak to these two witnesses as soon as possible. They may have information that is vital to the investigation and I urge them to get in touch."
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for Pete Stringer or Skipton Road Policing Group.
