I'd like to make a complaint for someone else

We take this very seriously, so please provide as much information as you can to help us with our investigations.
We'll ask you for:
- your contact details
- details about the person you're making a complaint for, including their date of birth
- what the complaint is about, including times, dates and who was involved
- the details of any witnesses
Please note: we can only investigate a complaint made on behalf of someone else when we have written consent to do so from that person.
All complaints about North Yorkshire police are handled by the North Yorkshire Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner. Your complaint will be sent directly to them.
