Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within North Yorkshire Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by North Yorkshire Police.

Decision

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.

1. We do not have suppliers working on developing software for us. We would either develop in-house or purchase Commercial Off the Shelf products and configure them.  We have not used third party suppliers for this activity.
2. Again we would either purchase defined interfaces from Vendor x and y – to link systems together, or on the odd occasion develop something in house. We have not used third party suppliers for this activity.
3. We currently do not have applications hosted by external suppliers, except where these are provided as part of national solutions.
4. The only item I believe is the public facing website with Corporate Communications Manage.
5. Again – I don’t believe we have purchased any consultancy regarding this category
6. In 2020-21 the expenditure for the ICT department was:

Temporary (agency only) £863,389

This includes the total cost of salary and oncosts including any overtime payments made.
