Could you please let me know how much income the Authority received in the 2020/21 financial year from speeding fines. Thank you.

Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within North Yorkshire Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by North Yorkshire Police.

The information regarding fine payments resulting from issuing of fixed penalty notices is not held by North Yorkshire Police. When the police issue a fixed penalty notice imposing a fine for a particular offence, all such fines are collected by Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) who would be the appropriate body to approach for this request.
