The only payment made by North Yorkshire Police in respect of any role which would be covered by this request is a payment of £200, made to specialist close protection officers in order to purchase clothing to fit over their body armour. This payment is not automatic, is only made when claimed by the individual officer, and the claim is authorised by their supervisor. The only circumsances in which the payment is taken back by North Yorkshire Police would be when the £200 advance is not fully spent and the balance is returnable.
