Q1. All newly recruited Police Officers are trained to the current Policing Education Qualifications Framework: Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship Curriculum, trauma is included within that curriculum. Police Staff in Operational, forward facing roles are trained in accordance with the relevant College of Policing learning programme.
The curriculum is the intellectual property of the College of Policing and we cannot share the contents of that curriculum with a third party without the explicit permission of the intellectual property holder
Q2. During Initial training, Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship Curriculum year 1. Police Staff in Operational, forward facing roles are trained in accordance with the relevant College of Policing as part of their induction learning programme.
Q3. NYP Occupational Heath provide guidance and counselling beyond the training contained within the relevant parts of the National Policing Curriculum.
