Extent and Result of Searches to Locate Information

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted within North Yorkshire Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by North Yorkshire Police.

Decision

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.

Q1. Gender is defined by the individual, not the force. North Yorkshire Police follow the Gender recognition Act and Equality Act in relation to gender.

Q2. No information held – we do not ask IAG members their gender.

Q3. No information held

Q4. There is no target for diversity. The group should be diverse by its nature and comprises volunteers. Where we have gaps in terms of strands of diversity we can, and do seek to target recruitment.
