Notice of Accelerated Misconduct Hearing in respect of Former Officer PC 832 Michael Parker
An accelerated misconduct hearing will be held in respect of former officer Michael Parker, who is alleged to have breached the Standard of Professional Behaviours in relation to Discreditable Conduct and Authority, Respect & Courtesy.

Between 1 January 2019 and 30 April 2020, former officer Parker subjected Miss A, a person with whom he was personally connected, to coercive and controlling behaviour. Further, between 1 May 2020 and 3 August 2020, former officer Parker pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of Miss A.
On 25 July 2022, former officer Parker was convicted by a jury following a trial at Sheffield Crown Court of (i) subjecting Miss A to controlling or coercive behaviour; and (ii) stalking
Miss A. He was remanded in custody upon conviction.
On 9th September 2022, former officer Parker was sentenced following his conviction to 5 years imprisonment and a 10-year restraining order relating to Miss A.
The conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Discreditable Conduct and Authority, Respect & Courtesy.
