Appeal after pedestrian injured in Selby collision

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a collision in Selby on the night of Tuesday 24 February 2015.

At around 11.15pm, a man aged in his thirties from Selby was involved in a collision with a silver Audi A3 near the Jet Garage on Bawtry Road.

The pedestrian was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious but non-life- threatening injuries. The driver of the Audi, a man aged in his 20s from the Goole area was uninjured.

The Audi was travelling towards Selby town centre at the time of the collision and police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or saw either the pedestrian or the silver Audi prior to the incident, to contact them.
