Appeal following a assault in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault which took place on Garnet Terrace, York

The incident happened at approximately 4.30pm on 31 May 2021 and involved a 13 year-old boy being assaulted by a large group of youths.

The victim sustained a ripped T-shirt and red markings to his body during the incident.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV in the area.
