Appeal following assault on Marlborough Grove in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault on a man that occurred in York.

The assault happened on Marlborough Grove at approximately 6.30pm on Thursday 19 July 2018 and involved a man in his fifties and another man in his early twenties.

There is an on-going investigation in relation to this and we are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for two members of the public, who it is believed made attempts to verbally stop in the incident from continuing, to come forward and contact police.
