Appeal following assault at York Racecourse

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred at York Racecourse.

The incident happened on Racecourse Road at around 6.50pm on Saturday 29th July 2017.

A man selling items on Racecourse Road was assaulted by a race-goer leaving the course.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for any persons who may have witnessed the disturbance.
