Appeal following criminal damage at Scruton Cricket Club in Northallerton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the village of Scruton near Northallerton.

The incident took place at Scruton Cricket Club on Station Road in Northallerton on Saturday 7 August 2021 between 5.30am and 6.30am, where damage has been caused to the wicket covers.

Officers are conducting enquiries to determine the circumstances of the incident. They would like to speak to three youths – two boys and a girl – who were in the area at the time the damage was caused, as they may hold important information.
