Appeal following the killing of an animal near Tadcaster

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the cruel killing of a calf that occurred near Tadcaster.


At about 11.30 pm on 21 December 2016, cruel thieves attended a farm near Tadcaster and attacked a young cow, towed it out of its barn on the back of a quad bike then left it in the field, it was also shot and has subsequently died. The thieves stole the farmer’s trailers and caused other damage before leaving the scene on a quad bike.
