Appeal following recent assault in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in York.

It happened around the Nunthorpe Road area on Tuesday (26 February 2019) at around 7pm and involved a white man, approximately 5 feet 10in tall, wearing a black jacket and jeans and light-coloured Nike trainers, who assaulted a a 20-year-old man.

No further details were provided to police.
