North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in Weeton.

It happened on Wescoe Hill Lane between 9am and 7pm on Thursday 11 July 2019 and when a handbag (the same style as the one pictured) and quantity of cash was taken from a home.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area on the above date or have any further information.

In particular they would like to hear from anyone who has any information about those involved or has seen a bag like the one pictured being offered for sale or discarded.
