Appeal following Scarborough sneak-in burglary

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a "sneak-in" burglary that occurred in Scarborough.

The incident took place at Hillside Gardens, Scarborough sometime between 22 September and 26 September 2015.  A person entered the address of an elderly female who suffers from dementia and stole an amount of money from a display cabinet.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. If you saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area or have any other information that could assist the investigation, please contact the police.
