Appeal following sexual assault in Sherburn in Elmet

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about a sexual assault that occurred in Sherburn in Elmet.

It happened on Garden Lane at about 9am on Tuesday 11 May 2021, and involved a male suspect inappropriately touching a teenage girl.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

The suspect is believed to have been wearing black mesh trainers – no further description is known.
