Appeal for information about recent criminal damage

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a criminal damage that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened on St Nicholas Street between Saturday 26 and Tuesday 29. At some point in this time frame, two windows of a small local business and a window of a rental car have been damaged. It is estimated that the cost of repair will be in the region of £300

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone who knows who caused the damage.
