Appeal for information after cannabis grow found in Richmond

The grow with hundreds of plants was located in a building on an industrial estate after fire service attended an incident at a property nearby.

On Sunday 2 May 2021, North Yorkshire Police were contacted by North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue after a cannabis farm was discovered in a building on the Gallowfields Trading Estate in Richmond.

Officers attended and found over 200 adult plants in the property, with a further 100 smaller plants discovered in another area of the building as well as electrical and hydroponics equipment.
