Appeal for information following Sainsbury’s theft

Police are appealing for information to help identify the woman in the CCTV image.

Officers want to speak to the woman in connection with a theft from Sainsbury’s in York.

The incident happened shortly after 11.30am on 1 November 2017 at the store on Scarcroft Road, York.

A woman entered the store, picked up a selection of groceries and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.
