Appeal for a recent assault

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred Lawrence Street, York.

It happened on Lawrence Street, York at 2:30pm on Sunday 28 August 2016 and involved a male in his late fifties, about 5’8″ tall wearing a blue jacket and jeans assaulting another male by hitting him over the head several times.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
