Appeal for witnesses following theft attempt of lead in Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the attempted theft of lead that occurred in Selby.

It happened at an address on Park Street at 7.30pm on Thursday 29 March 2018.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about two men who climbed onto scaffolding and attempted to remove lead from the roof.
