CCTV: Appeal after theft of purse in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a theft that occurred in York City Centre.

CCTV: Appeal after theft of purse in York

It happened at Superdrug on Market Street at around 3pm on 24 June 2019 and involved an elderly woman having her purse taken by another woman whilst in store.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about identifying the person in the CCTV.
