Malton: Appeal following theft of rowing boat

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a theft of a rowing boat that occurred in Malton.

It happened on the river Derwent between 12.30pm and 5pm on Wednesday 27 May 2020.

The dark-coloured wooden rowing boat with oars was stolen from its mooring not far from the Dennis Distributions site off Derwent Road.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone seen in a rowing boat.
