Man arrested following an assault at a petrol station in York.
Yesterday, North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal for information following an assault at a petrol station in York.
It happened at the BP garage on Lawrence Street at around 11.45pm on Sunday 7 November when a man climbed on top of a shop counter and is believed to have assaulted a member of staff.
A man has now been arrested in connection with the offence.
