Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault that occurred in York.
At approximately 16:45 on Monday 08 November 2021 a cyclist was punched and kicked on the cycle track that runs between Windmill Lane and The University of York Science Park in Heslington. The victim received minor injuries and their bicycle was also damaged.
The suspects are described as being a group of five or six white males, aged 15 to 16. They were all wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. One of the males involved is described as having short light blonde hair. A second male is described as having a distinctive long nose.
We are requesting the publics assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information relating to the identity of the offenders.
