Man comes forward following CCTV appeal

Just to update you that the man in the CCTV image from inside the Aldi store on Northway in Scarborough on 1 February 2022 has now come forward following the appeal.
He is helping the investigation into the suspected theft of a substantial amount of money that was accidentally dropped by an elderly woman shopper.
The man's image has been removed from our channels and we ask that the same is done on your own social media and websites while enquiries are ongoing.
