Police are asking residents in the area near the play park in Kingfisher Drive, Aiskew, Bedale, to check their doorbell or private CCTV footage after a teenager was assaulted at the park.
The incident happened at around 2.45pm on Thursday 21 April when the boy, aged in his late teens, was assaulted by two older males and sustained head injuries.
Since the offence took place, several lines of enquiry have been investigated and detectives would now like to identify people who may have seen the incident, the aftermath of the incident and residents who may have footage from private CCTV, which may hold information vital to the investigation.

Two men aged 18 and 21 have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on conditional police bail.
