Scarborough are appealing for information following an incident in Scarborough on Easter Bank Holiday Monday (18 April) when a man sexually assaulted a teenage girl and was then detained by members of the public.
It happened on Foreshore Road outside Gilly’s Amusements between 3.30pm and 4pm.
We are appealing to anyone who was there at the time and saw the incident to come forward along with anyone who has CCTV covering the area.
The area was likely to be busy at the time with it being a bank holiday and the incident may have attracted onlookers who could have heard or seen the incident or the aftermath.
