Police are appealing for information after several high-value cycles were stolen from a shop in Settle.
Overnight between Sunday 22 and Monday 23 May 2022, offenders used a van to force open the door to the shop in the Market Place. Once inside, they selected bikes from the showroom, and loaded them into the van before driving away.
It is believed the van used in the burglary was previously stolen from the Keighley area. It was white, and marked with the name of a window installation company. Another vehicle, possibly a dark-coloured SUV, may have been travelling with the van.
Anyone with information or relevant video footage (such as dashcam or CCTV) of the burglary, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police. Please email [email protected] or phone 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Richard Sutcliffe. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously, by phone or their website.
