Police in York are appealing for witnesses and information about a serious collision on Huntington Road at around 7.15pm on Monday (20 June 2022).
It happened close to Lloyds Pharmacy and involved a black Yamaha 125cc motorcycle and a red Jeep Renegade 4x4.
The rider of the Yamaha motorcycle, a 30-year-old local man, was taken to hospital and treated for a broken collarbone.
The man driving the Jeep and the three passengers were not injured.
We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing either the motorcycle or the Jeep prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
