North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a serious assault that occurred on Micklegate, York.
It happened outside The Micklegate pub between 11.35pm and 11.45pm on Wednesday 29 June 2022.
The incident involved a man assaulting the victim in an unprovoked attack, causing the victim to fall to the floor.
The suspect made off on foot onto Blossom Street. The victim suffered injuries to his head and was transported to hospital by ambulance, shortly after police attendance.
We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
