Around 7.45am this morning (Friday 30 September 2022) police received reports of a collision between a car and a stationary HGV on the A19.
The incident happened on the northbound carriageway near the Black Swan crossroads/Trenholme Lane when a silver Ford B-Max car collided with a stationary blue Volvo HGV.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the HGV driver did not sustain any injuries.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and was later reopened.
