Police are appealing for any witnesses to a disagreement between a woman and a man on Cayton Low Road in Eastfield, Scarborough.
Both people have been identified by police but officers are asking for any witnesses to any interaction between the pair.
It occurred on Thursday, 15 September at around 6.20pm to 6.50pm.
Both had bicycles and walked/cycled from the location of the bus stop near the station towards Cayton on the left side of the road.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to email [email protected] or phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 and select option 1 to speak to the Force Control Room.
