North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in York.
It happened on Blake Street at 8pm on Tuesday 20 December 2022 and involved a group of teenage boys assaulting a man outside McDonalds restaurant.
The man sustained injuries to his ear and one teenage boy was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.
The same teenager was also arrested on suspicion of assault and assaulting an emergency worker.
We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or may have camera footage that could assist the investigation to come forward.
