A stolen quadbike and suspected stolen Volkswagen Golf have been recovered and two suspects, including a 16-year-old boy, have been arrested.
The arrests follow the theft of the quadbike from the Long Preston area, reported at 1.45am in the early hours of Tuesday 6 December.
Thanks to a tracker fitted to the quadbike, officers were able to quickly locate and intercept it near Kildwick. After the vehicle came to a stop, the rider, a 20-year-old man from Leeds was arrested following a short foot chase.
The quadbike was in convoy with a Volkswagen Golf suspected as stolen from the Hellifield area, and the driver, a 16-year-old boy from Bradford, was arrested on suspicion of theft.
Both suspects remain in police custody for questioning.
