CCTV appeal after Selby purse theft

Police have issued CCTV of a person they would like to speak to following the theft of a purse in Selby.

It happened at the Yorkshire Trading Company, at approximately 11:40am on 10 December 2022 when a an elderly woman’s purse containing a quantity of cash and other personal belongings was stolen.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
