North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted burglary that occurred in Stokesley.
At around 12.30am Saturday 18 March, thieves attempted to gain entry to a property on Meadowfield in Stokesley.
Thankfully they did not succeed, but the homeowner had understandably been left concerned.
Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident. They’d particularly like to speak to anyone who may have captured doorbell camera or CCTV footage of the incident.
