North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the theft of a moped from Vine Street, York.
The moped was taken sometime between 1.30-2.30am on Monday 24 April. It was later discovered at around 8am by a member of the public on Scarcroft Green. Unfortunately it had sustained extensive damage.
The moped is described as black Honda with red and white body work. Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the theft, or anyone who recalls seeing the moped in the early hours of the 24 April to contact them.
They’d particularly like to hear from any local residents who may have captured CCTV, door bell or dash camera footage.
