Police are appealing for information and witnesses after this distinctive yellow classic mk1 Ford Escort was stolen from a locked garage in Northallerton.
Thieves have used power tools to cut into the garage itself and then gone on to cut through two locked gates, to steal the car from Motorscope garage in Northallerton.
The car was taken from the garage which is on Standard Way, between 1.25-1.30am on Wednesday 26 April. The vehicle which has the registration FEV 999H, was then sighted by witnesses heading north on the A1 towards Durham and Sunderland.
